Saw a used truck with plow listed online through Tim's. I used the online form to contact the dealer to schedule a test drive for the following weekend. Wife and I drove a couple hours to test drive the truck and included plow. We arrived at the agreed time. First problem was that the representative I had spoken to and thought I would be meeting with wasn't there. The seemingly only guy at the location had no idea about the appointment. The second problem was that the plow was uninstalled and in the bed of the truck. So how could we have tested it? The last and most important problem was after we got there, the guy who was available told us the frame needed, "major work." That was 100% not included in the listing or mentioned at all before we made the trip. All he could offer was to show us other trucks and maybe have a plow attached for an additional fee. I don't want to accuse anyone of "bait and switch," but it definitely smelled like it. On the way home, I texted the original contact person to express our disappointment. He offered no apology. He did say, however, that they have many other trucks we could look at. No thanks. Instead, we bought a different truck from another retailer.

They sold me a nice truck a long time ago. It had a low coolant warning shortly after purchasing it. It was still under warranty, so I brought it back to have them check it out. They said that they pressure tested the system and found no leaks! For years and years I kept dumping coolant in the truck. Finally a garage pointed out there was a hole in the water pump. I paid for a new water pump and never put any more coolant in the truck ever. Don't buy a truck from this business unless you know how to do a vehicle inspection yourself. Dishonest company.

First time buyer with this dealership. Sat down with Lenny and Alex, for what I was interested in getting for a truck. Alex showed me a four door ford and went home that night with my ford. Alex and Lenny were helpful and Jon the financial manager was very helpful and polite. It’s 92 mi away from where I live, but would definitely buy another vehicle from the dealership again.

For any reason, please do not buy from this dealership. I was scammed out of just under 9000$ in cash on a Chevy that isn’t even worth the money. I had a long battle of getting a car from the start, I was looking at a Chevy Cruze to begin with, and upon my first visit they said it was still in the shop and had work to be done. I picked out a new car that was also an absolute wreck, a Ford Focus that originally ran fine, but very quickly worked its way up to having engine problems. I paid for that car in full, waited over a week for them to “fix” the problems before I had to demand a new car from them. That’s when I received the car I was originally looking it, the Chevy Cruze. I was told it was completely ready to drive off the lot with 0 problems, and it seemed so after my test drive. The very next day after I took the car home, the check engine light came on. I brought it to a mechanic about a week later only to find out that this dealership completely lied to me, and that it never even passed inspection. It failed emissions under 5 separate categories, and was past the 60 day frame before I even bought it. I was not informed about any of this, or was given any paperwork to sign to acknowledge that there is problems with the car. Assumably, they turned off the lights on the dash before I bought it, and let me drive off the lot with a car they claimed to be 100% ready to go. So please, under any circumstances do not buy from this dealership.

I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy 2500lt duramax from Tim’s truck capital, overall I had a good experience and received a good truck out of the deal. The financing could have gone a little quicker but they were busy and it is what it is. All the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ve read a lot of negative reviews regarding Tim’s I think it boils down to people going to buy a vehicle and knowing nothing about vehicles and what to look for. If you buy a wholesale vehicle, we’ll guess what you’re more than likely going to have issues, wholesale vehicles don’t go through their shop, and just land on the lot. Also, it’s important if you don’t know much about vehicles to bring someone that does, and always do a carfax check on the vehicle you’re interested in prior to even showing up to the lot. Overall, I’m happy with the vehicle I received and I think Tim’s gets a lot of undue negative reviews from people who don’t know what they are looking at or for. I’d also like to add that after the sale I ran into a few issues regarding a second set of keys and a wear and tear mechanical issue that was overlooked in their inspection process. Tim’s is by far the best for after service customer care that I’ve come across for a dealership. They replaced a windshield of mine on their own dime due to a crack in the windshield and the seal was leaking into the headliner. The rotors were shot on the truck and overlooked during their inspection process, I brought it to their attention once it was discovered about 200-300 miles after my 1000 mile dealership warranty expired and without hesitation proceeded to offer me reimbursement for the rotors. They easily could have brushed me off but they didn’t and took my concerns seriously. A+ across the board.
